Fees and Payment
- Integrative Medicine: New patient, $300; follow-up, $150
- Naturopathic Medicine: New patient, $250; follow-up, $125
- Acupuncture: New patient, $150; follow-up, $85
- Massage Therapy: 60-minute session, $70; 30-minute session, $40
Payment methods accepted: Cash, check, MasterCard, Visa and American Express
Payment is required upon your visit to the clinic. A $35 cancellation fee is waived if at least 24 hours notice is given.
Insurance: The Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine accepts insurance coverage for certain services. We accept coverage for services provided by the medical doctor (for general and brief visits only) and for some acupuncture services provided at the clinic. Review your insurance plan benefits carefully to determine whether your plan pays for the services you wish to receive. Some insurance plans may require pretreatment authorization for certain services.
There may also be a limit to the number of visits allowed by your insurance for certain services. If this is the case, we recommend that you obtain approval from your insurance provider and provide a copy of the authorization for treatment. If your plan does not cover a specific service, you are expected to pay for the service provided.
