Through the leadership efforts of Dr. Dwight M. Nance, we are currently researching the health effects of the juice of the high anti-oxidant Goji berry. There has been great interest over the past few years as to whether these berries (such as acai or goji) can potentially increase energy and improve health. We hope to have some preliminary trends and results by the spring of 2009. Stay tuned...

We are currently looking at the effects of probiotics on gastrointestinal health. Probiotics are defined as live organisms, which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.  You may have seen TV ads this year promoting yoghurt-type products to help with digestion and regularity. This clinical trial is focused on determining the therapeutic effects of probiotics in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS WITH ULCERATIVE COLITIS FOR THIS CLINICAL STUDY. IF YOU HAVE MILD TO MODERATE ULCERATIVE COLITIS AND WOULD BE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THIS STUDY
