This eight-week program is designed to benefit anyone who wants to be able to handle stress more effectively and to enhance personal coping skills. MBSR will teach you how to consciously and methodically deal with stress, pain, illness and the demanding challenges of everyday life. The course consists of weekly two hour classes and Saturday retreat.

The Instructor: Donald Maurer, MD | email@example.com | 253.225.1399Dr. Don Maurer is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with a long time interest in stress reduction, meditation and mindfulness. He has taken professional training with Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn and other senior teachers at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and other courses in mindfulness at the Susan Samueli Center of Integrative Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and is involved in developing research on the benefits of mindfulness in the workplace.
